Phoenix auto broker Aidyn Albright, founder of My Car Negotiator, said he is helping car buyers avoid the stress and uncertainty of dealership negotiations by handling the entire process on their behalf, from research to final pricing.
Albright described his role as stepping in between the customer and the dealership to ensure buyers get transparent pricing and a smoother experience.
“From there I go out and I do the researching… then I handle the contacting and communicating with the dealership to get the numbers, beat them up on the negotiations and the pricing and everything, make sure that they’re not sneaking anything in there,” he said on the Phoenix Business Brief podcast.

He said the process begins with understanding exactly what the client wants, including budget, vehicle type, and features, before narrowing down options and negotiating directly with dealers. Once terms are finalized, buyers avoid the typical back-and-forth at the dealership.
“When they show up, it’s simple. There’s no surprises, no extra games… they simply just have to go in there, review the last final docs and sign the paperwork,” Albright said.
Albright, who previously worked in car sales, said many buyers make costly mistakes by focusing too narrowly on monthly payments rather than total cost. “They just focus, ‘Hey, I want to have a $500 monthly payment,’ and they don’t really see the out-the-door numbers, the sale price, the interest rate, all those other fees,” he said.
That approach, he said, can allow dealers to adjust financing or add costs without buyers fully understanding the impact. “They might be able to either sneak up a little bit on the interest rate [or] pack in some extra stuff on the back end,” Albright said.
He also pointed to trade-in values as another area where buyers often lose money if they do not do enough research. Many customers accept initial offers without comparing market data or understanding how tax savings are presented, he said.
Beyond pricing, Albright said the dealership environment itself can lead to rushed decisions.
“There’s a lot of pressure… ‘What does it take to make the deal today?’… they don’t really give you too much time to think,” he said, adding that long wait times and repeated negotiations can wear buyers down.
His service is designed to remove that pressure by locking in terms ahead of time and ensuring full transparency before the client ever steps onto the lot.
Based in Scottsdale, Albright said his business grew organically after friends and family repeatedly asked for help negotiating car deals. He now works with clients across the Phoenix area who want a more controlled and predictable buying experience.
