Cultivate Elevate co-founder: “You can heal yourself with your food”

Matt Roeske, co-founder of Cultivate Elevate, said his approach to health centers on diet, environment, and lifestyle changes rather than traditional medical treatment.

“I realized that I could heal myself naturally,” Roeske said. “I could heal myself with my food, with my water… with exercise and getting rid of the things that are causing the toxicity to my body.”

Roeske said his perspective developed after questioning conventional explanations for health issues early in his life. “I was only 25 years old… and he told me that everything I was going through was… my genetics,” he said, adding that he began to explore alternative approaches after that experience.

He said many common health problems stem from environmental and dietary factors rather than complex conditions. “In reality it’s just toxicity or heavy metals… or you’re just not eating correctly,” Roeske said.

Roeske emphasized simplicity in diet, encouraging people to focus on basic, unprocessed foods. “You should be able to say the food that you’re putting into the body,” he said. “It shouldn’t have hidden ingredients.”

He also highlighted water quality as a key factor in overall health. “The best thing a person can do is get off the public water system and move towards a well so that they can get pure water,” Roeske said.

Roeske said environmental factors, including technology use, can also affect well-being.

“When people were surrounded by electricity… they started developing dizziness… brain fog… memory loss,” he said, adding that time in nature can help alleviate those effects.

He said spending time outdoors is a simple way to support health. “Spending time in nature… is probably one of the most important things,” Roeske said. “It’s free. It does not cost you a dollar.”

Roeske co-founded Cultivate Elevate in 2020, focusing on superfood supplements and natural approaches to health and wellness.
